Job summary

Five Below is hiring an Interim Support Lead to help run store operations and deliver an outstanding customer experience in our NY area location. You will assist with front-end operations, cash handling, merchandising, and daily team supervision during a busy season.

The role includes training crew, acting as Manager on Duty, and driving sales while controlling expenses. Flexible schedule and weekend shifts are possible.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wowing the customer through personal contact.
• Train crew on B.E.S.T. customer service experience for fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick floor placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed and handle store operations and staff issues.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Onboard and train associates on store policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and recovery procedures.
• Perform store maintenance tasks such as cleaning and stock room organization.
