Job summary

Five Below is seeking an Interim Support Lead to oversee front-end operations, cash handling, merchandising, and store maintenance. You will assume Manager on Duty responsibilities during assigned shifts, training associates and driving sales during peak cycles.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of management experience, and strong communication skills. This is a temporary hourly role with flexible scheduling to support our busiest time of year.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew wow customers with personal contact and friendly service.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience and checkout efficiency.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures performance.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty during shifts, managing store operations and staff.
• Opens or closes the store, secures cash, locks doors, and ensures smooth daily operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and staffing optimization.
• Collaborates with store leadership on merchandising and World Recovery initiatives.
• Performs store maintenance tasks and keeps facilities in good condition.
