Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior ADP and Excel experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an office environment.
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Calculates earnings from timesheets or individual timecards and posts calculated data on payroll sheets.
• May assist in preparing and distributing paychecks.
• Calculates and posts employee earnings including overtime.
• Calculates vacation and sick pay.
• Process individual salary rate adjustments or other changes affecting employee payroll status including new hires, transfers, layoffs, terminations, paid or unpaid leaves of absence and related actions.
• Maintains required payroll files and records.
• May consist of making entries, updating, and maintaining employee records within the Payroll system
