Job summary

Gravie is hiring a Temporary Desktop Support Technician to support our IT infrastructure during peak hiring. You will provide Level 1 IT support for local and remote users, handling Windows, Chrome and Mac devices, applications, printers, and networking both on-site at our Minneapolis office and remotely.

The role emphasizes ticket handling, inventory management, licensing compliance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of IT experience including troubleshooting and supporting Chrome and Mac laptops.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic to moderately complex IT issues with PCs, laptops, phones, printers and mobile devices.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Slack.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and deliver strong customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Handle Level 1 IT support tickets for local and remote users.
• Manage Windows, Chrome, and Mac hardware and software; laptops, peripherals, applications, printers, networking.
• Provide on-site and remote support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Prioritize and resolve incidents within SLAs; escalate when needed.
• Support SaaS apps and troubleshoot applications used within Gravie.
• Oversee office hardware inventory and ensure accurate records.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving of IT equipment.
• Assist in setup of new Windows/Mac laptops with required software.
• Stay current with hardware/OS trends, SaaS apps and best practices.
• Support cloud services for Google Apps (Gmail, Calendar, Drive).
• Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth IT operations.
