Job summary

Apple Rehab Inc in New Britain, CT is actively seeking an experienced CNA to cover multiple nearby facilities. A minimum of 16 hours per week with flexible scheduling, including 3-11pm shifts, is offered. Get paid weekly with a 401(k) plan and matching. Rate: $30 per hour.

The CNA will document care, perform nursing tasks as directed, monitor vitals, and report resident changes to a supervisor. Attendance, accuracy, and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification in CT in good standing.
• Experience in senior care with minimum 2 years.
• No history of patient abuse per State Registry.
• Proficient reading and writing; able to follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and prioritization.
• Attendance is required and expected.
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, tact and a positive attitude toward residents.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

Job Description:

C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant documents personal care given according to facility policies. Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration. C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns. Reports immediately all accidents or injuries. Records all necessary charting entries. Answers all call lights regardless of assignment.

Requirements Qualifications:

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of CT in good standing

• Experience in senior care required- minimum 2 years

• No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry.

• Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.

• Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

• Attendance is a MUST!
