Job summary

A Skilled Nursing Home Facility is seeking an experienced CNA to join our team. You may work at multiple nearby facilities with a minimum of 16 hours per week and flexible scheduling. Get paid weekly and participate in our 401(k) plan with matching.

We value reliability, compassion, and teamwork as you provide high-quality personal care and report changes to the supervisor promptly. This is an in-person role with opportunities across CT communities.

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in CT in good standing.
• Experience in senior care required.
• No history of patient/resident abuse per State Registry.
• Proficient reading, writing and following instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Attendance is a MUST.
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates patience, tact and a positive attitude toward residents.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care per facility policies and daily living activities.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition to supervisor.
• Record all necessary charting entries and call light responses.
• Assist with turning, bed making, and basic nursing tasks as directed.

Job Description:

C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant documents personal care given according to facility policies. Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration. C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns. Reports immediately all accidents or injuries. Records all necessary charting entries. Answers all call lights regardless of assignment.

Requirements Qualifications:

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of CT in good standing




• Experience in senior care required




• No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry.




• Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
