Job summary

A Skilled Nursing Home Facility in Westerly, RI is seeking an experienced CNA to jump in across nearby facilities. The role requires a minimum of 16 hours per week, with up to 40 hours, and shifts from 3-11pm. Get paid weekly; a 401(k) with match is offered.

Rate: $30/hour. Work location is in-person at multiple facilities, with fast, same-day offers. Responsibilities include providing personal care, performing nursing functions as directed, observing residents, reporting changes, and completing

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification in CT in good standing.
• Experience in senior care required - minimum 2 years.
• No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
• Attendance is a MUST!
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and nursing tasks per facility policy.
• Record temperature, weight, pulse and respiration.
• Observe changes in residents and report to supervisor.
• Record all necessary charting entries.
• Answer all call lights promptly.

Job Description:

C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant documents personal care given according to facility policies. Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration. C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns. Reports immediately all accidents or injuries. Records all necessary charting entries. Answers all call lights regardless of assignment.

Requirements Qualifications:

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of CT in good standing
• Experience in senior care required- minimum 2 years
• No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Attendance is a MUST!
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards residents and their support networks.
