Job summary

Apploi in Sayville, NY is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to join our caring team. We have immediate openings for all shifts, including weekdays and weekends, with flexible part-time schedules and on-the-job training to help you grow.

Requirements include an active CNA certification and prior nursing home experience. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered after the probationary period, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning patients
• Collect specimens
• Assist with respiratory treatments
• Assist with catheter care and other medical procedures as directed by healthcare professionals
• Provide support and care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments
• Maintain a clean and organized patient environment

Skills

• Experience in Long Term Care setting is preferred
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
• Ability to lift and move patients safely and effectively
• Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to understand and follow healthcare instructions
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to provide compassionate care and maintain patient confidentiality

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.14 per hour day shift- $24.35 per hour even/night shift

Expected hours: 7.5 – 22.50 per week
