Job summary

Trojan Storage is hiring a Temp Assistant Manager for a 90-day assignment to support daily operations across our self-storage facilities. You will work closely with the property manager, handle customer interactions, assist in rental and collection processes, and help keep sites clean and well-maintained.

The role requires strong customer service, cash handling, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and working transportation to travel between properties.
• 1 year of experience in a customer facing role preferred.
• Ability to stand, sit, crawl, bend, climb, or balance on a ladder, and transport/lift/move up to 35 lbs.
• Weekend availability and ability to work independently.
• Office skills including organizational skills, writing, basic math, and computer skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with great decision-making ability.
• Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Supports the property’s sales goals by promoting units and supplies, following up on leads, and garnering positive reviews.
• Guides customers through the rental process, including offering insurance and handling 3rd party products and services.
• Performs daily cleaning and maintenance tasks and maintains curb appeal.
• Balances cash drawers, handles payments, completes daily and monthly checklists, and conducts unit inspections.
• Delivers excellent customer service through multi-channel communication while managing complaints.
• Delivers bank deposits and mail daily and maintains inventory of supplies.
