Job summary

Trojan Storage is seeking an assistant manager to support daily operations across multiple self-storage properties. You will work with the property manager, report to the District Manager, and help maintain cleanliness and smooth rental processes.

You will handle sales-promotions, guide customers through rentals (including insurance and third-party services), and ensure high customer satisfaction through multi-channel communication.

Qualifications

• Valid driver''s license and auto insurance.
• 1 year of customer-facing experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Weekend availability and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Promotes unit rentals and supplies, follows up on leads, and garners positive reviews.
• Guides customers through the rental process, explains insurance and services, and conducts site tours.
• Performs daily cleaning and maintenance to keep interior/exterior areas presentable.
• Balances cash drawers, processes payments, and runs daily/monthly checklists and inspections.
• Delivers excellent customer service via in-person, phone, and online channels and handles complaints.
• Delivers bank deposits and maintains inventory of supplies and maintenance equipment.
