Sit ‘n Sleep is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to support day-to-day AP processes in Gardena, CA. You will review, code, and process invoices, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end close while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn accounting software and internal financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Match invoices with purchase orders, receipts, and other supporting documentation.
• Enter invoices and payment information into the accounting system.
• Assist with weekly and monthly payment processing.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical accounts payable records.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and accounts payable reporting.
• Ensure invoices are properly approved and processed according to company policies.
• Support the accounting team with special projects and other administrative duties as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and vendor information.
