Job summary

Kinetic Personnel Group in Anaheim seeks an Accounts Payable Clerk for daily AP operations in a construction and lumber supply company. You will process invoices, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive relationships with vendors and internal teams. Training is available for the right candidate.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, proficient with MS Excel/Outlook/Word, and able to handle 1,300–2,000+ invoices monthly in a fast-paced environment. OT may be required.

Qualifications

• Accounts payable experience is helpful, but not required; training is available.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Proficiency with a 10-key calculator.
• Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a high volume of invoices.

Responsibilities

• Match vendor invoices to purchase orders (POs) and verify pricing and quantities billed.
• Research, track, and resolve invoice pricing discrepancies with sales representatives and vendors.
• Process a high volume of invoices, approximately 1,300–2,000+ per month.
• Enter, organize, distribute, and mail invoices as needed.
• Maintain daily batch logs and update invoice batches accurately.
• Assist vendors with questions regarding outstanding invoices and payment status.
• Review vendor statements to ensure payments are accurate and up to date.
• Work with other departments to ensure their accounts payable needs are met.
• Provide general accounting support and assist with additional duties as needed.
