Rockland Trust is seeking a Teller Trainee to be the friendly face of our branches, delivering efficient, courteous service while handling deposits, withdrawals, and other banking transactions. You will greet customers, learn product options, and support branch and company goals with accuracy and care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using technology, including computers, to facilitate business goals.
• Sales and service-oriented personality.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
• Positive approach to interactions with customers and team members.
• Ability to work within normal office requirements, with long periods of standing and continuous customer support.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work weekends as customer needs dictate.
• Ability to complete onboarding and training programs within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Make the first impression to customers as they enter the branch, warmly greeting them and guiding to the right colleague.
• Engage in constant customer support, providing efficient and courteous service in person and via phone.
• Provide information on Rockland Trust banking products suited to individual needs.
• Ensure accuracy in transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and cash handling.
• Make decisions alongside supervisor as knowledge grows.
• Learn responsibilities with the training team and complete Teller Training.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
