Job summary

Greylock Federal Credit Union in Pittsfield, MA is seeking a Teller Specialist to deliver exceptional member service with accurate transaction processing and product guidance. This full-time, in-office role supports teller operations and compliance while fostering team development.

You will handle deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and daily balancing; participate in sales campaigns, cross-sell services, and assist with vault duties and currency management.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year teller/cash-handling experience required.
• Two or more years preferred, mentoring/training experience a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; branch ops/compliance training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately processes deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and inquiries; balances work and cash daily.
• Assists with training, mentoring, and guidance to Teller staff; supports daily setup and assigns operational tasks.
• Performs vault management, overrides, ATM balancing, and opens/closes the branch as needed.
• Manages branch currency orders and inventory; serves as Vault Teller on rotation after certification.
• Ensures adherence to security, compliance and regulatory guidelines.
• Participates in sales and service campaigns; cross-sells products and refers members to services.
