Job summary

Greylock Federal Credit Union is seeking a Teller Representative at our Pittsfield, MA branch. The role focuses on high-quality member service, accurate teller transactions, and promoting credit union products while maintaining cash handling standards.

Responsibilities include processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, and cross-selling services, with emphasis on compliance and teamwork. The position offers in-office work with a sign-on bonus and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Six months of cash handling experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with branch technology.
• Able to process high transaction volumes accurately.

Responsibilities

• Accurately processes member transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments, check cashing, etc.) in accordance with credit union procedures and regulatory requirements, with proper documentation and balancing.
• Manages cash and coin inventory, requests currency, and follows cash control policies for accuracy and security.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of branch procedures, services, and compliance related to teller operations.
• Supports branch operations with exceptional service, teamwork, and participation in community engagement.
• Promotes credit union products and services, cross-sells offerings, and refers members to appropriate departments.
