Job summary

Peoples Bank in Covington, VA is seeking a friendly Teller to provide excellent customer service, process deposits and withdrawals, and perform multi-step teller transactions accurately. You will identify customer needs, refer them to appropriate partners, and support branch goals while maintaining cash drawer integrity and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 1-year related work experience in customer service.
Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Deliver superior customer service with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
Process deposits, withdrawals, and complex teller transactions with accuracy.
Identify customer needs and refer them to appropriate branch partners.
Make sales calls to meet calling goals and record activities in Salesforce.
Maintain accurate cash drawer balance and resolve issues per policy.
Ensure compliance with security, risk management and branch procedures.
Travel to other branches as needed for coverage.
