Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the teller line in conjunction with the Branch Manager/Designee.
• Provide leadership, conflict resolution, and process improvements to the teller line.
• Engage and develop the teller team in sales activities and refer customers to appropriate platforms.
• Train and onboard new tellers; evaluate and document performance.
• Create and foster a cohesive team with a positive work environment.
• Develop and utilize the skills for effective supervision of colleagues.
• Process all transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cash checking accurately.
• Manage branch cash, vault, and balance daily limits.
• Oversee teller outbound calling and service calls for onboarding new customers.
• Utilize systems and reports to profile customers and generate leads for platform staff.
• Act as a resource to tellers with knowledge of products and services.
• Promote self-service channels to customers (ATM, Online Banking, Mobile Banking).
• Conduct monthly reports (Quality Assurance, Cash Audit, Teller Error, etc.).
• Adhere to security, compliance, and retail banking policies; supervise tellers accordingly.
• Take initiative to support other departments and respond to interoffice inquiries.
