Rockland Trust is looking for a capable Teller Specialist to lead the teller line, coach the team, and drive customer service excellence in a branch setting. You will work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure accurate transactions, proper cash handling, and compliance with procedures while supporting branch sales goals.

The role emphasizes leadership in service delivery, training new tellers, and identifying opportunities to assist customers with banking solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Sales oriented with strong customer service focus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day teller line operations with Branch Manager guidance.
• Provide leadership and coaching to tellers and staff.
• Identify sales opportunities and refer customers to appropriate platforms.
• Train and onboard new tellers; evaluate performance.
• Foster a cohesive team and maintain positive working relationships.
• Supervise cash handling, vault management, and balancing.
• Lead outbound calls and assist in onboarding new customers.
• Utilize reports to profile customers and generate leads for platform staff.
