Position Summary

Provides exceptional customer service and basic product information through transactions including savings, checking, loan account transactions, money orders, and official checks. Establishes rapport, identifies cross-sell opportunities, and refers customers to appropriate business partners. The position requires the ability to float between multiple branch locations as needed.

Assistant Branch Manager

Positions Available

Full and Part Time with flexible hours: Monday - Thursday 8:15 am - 4:45 pm; Friday 8:15 am - 5:15 pm; Saturday 8:45 am - 1:15 pm (rotation schedule, Saturdays required).

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Provide comprehensive, prompt, and efficient customer service, ensuring accurate processing of transactions including bond redemption, cash advances, safe deposit payments, and more, following policies and procedures.
2. Assist customers with account questions both in-branch and via telephone.
3. Stay updated on bank products, services, policies, and procedures.
4. Promote bank products by referring customers to appropriate partners, capturing interactions with PCV software.
5. Balance cash drawer daily and report discrepancies.
6. Assist in daily branch operations and sales activities.
7. Ensure the teller station and branch are stocked with necessary supplies.
8. Float between multiple branch locations as needed.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of in-house training.
• Skills: Good communication, interpersonal skills, customer service, attention to detail, computer skills, ability to recognize customer needs for product referrals.
