Position Summary

Provides exceptional customer service and basic product information through transactions including a variety of savings, checking, and loan account transactions, as well as money orders and official checks. Establishes rapport, identifies cross-sell opportunities, and refers customers to appropriate business partners. This position requires the ability to float between multiple branch locations as needed.

Assistant Branch Manager

Positions available

Full and Part Time, with flexible hours: Monday - Thursday 8:15 am - 4:45 pm; Friday 8:15 am - 5:15 pm; Saturday 8:45 am - 1:15 pm (Saturday rotation required).

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Provide comprehensive, prompt, and efficient customer service, ensuring accurate processing of transactions in accordance with policies and procedures, including bond redemption, cash advances, and safe deposit payments.
2. Assist customers with account maintenance questions both in-branch and via telephone.
3. Stay updated on bank products, services, policies, and procedures.
4. Promote bank products and services by referring customers to appropriate business partners based on their needs, and document interactions using PCV software, including loan, business, and investment services.
5. Balance cash drawer daily and report discrepancies.
6. Assist supervisors with daily branch operations and sales activities.
7. Ensure the teller station and branch are stocked with necessary forms and supplies.
8. Float between multiple branch locations as needed.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of in-house training program.
• Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Good communication and interpersonal skills, superior customer service, attention to detail, computer skills, and ability to recognize customer needs for product referrals.
