Position Summary

Provides exceptional customer service and basic product information through transactions including a variety of savings, checking, and loan account transactions, as well as money orders and official checks. Establishes rapport, identifies cross-sell opportunities, and refers customers to appropriate business partners. This position requires the ability to float between multiple branch locations as needed.

Reports to: Assistant Branch Manager

Positions available: Full and Part Time. Flexible hours: Monday - Thursday 8:15 am - 4:45 pm; Friday 8:15 am - 5:15 pm; Saturday 8:45 am - 1:15 pm (Saturday rotation required).

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Provide comprehensive, prompt, and efficient customer service. Ensure accurate processing of transactions including savings, checking, and loan accounts, while adhering to bank policies and procedures. Transactions include bond redemption, cash advances, and safe deposit payments.
2. Assist customers with account maintenance questions both in-branch and via telephone.
3. Stay updated on bank products, services, policies, practices, and procedures.
4. Promote bank products and services by referring customers to appropriate business partners based on their needs; document interactions using our PCV software, including loan, business, and investment services.
5. Balance cash drawer daily and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
6. Assist supervisors with daily branch operations and sales activities.
7. Ensure the teller station and branch are stocked with forms and supplies.
8. Float between multiple branch locations as needed.
