Job summary

First Interstate Bank in Hayden, ID is hiring a Teller to handle daily teller transactions in the lobby and drive-up. You will deliver outstanding client service, process deposits and payments, and develop client relationships by identifying referral opportunities to other lines of business.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. On-site work and regular attendance are expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process deposits and loan payments, cash checks, record deposits and redeem savings bonds.
• Answer client questions in person and by phone with accuracy.
• Process additional transactions and prepare currency transaction reports as needed.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer clients to bankers for other services.
• Record activities and referrals in 360View and assist with client requests.
• Reconcile cash drawer, verify transactions, and maintain cash supplies.
