Job summary

First Interstate Bank in Cheyenne, WY seeks a Teller to handle daily transactions in lobby and drive-up, delivering outstanding client service and building relationships for referrals. You will process deposits, payments, and currency exchanges while maintaining cash drawer accuracy and confidentiality.

A high school diploma or GED is required; cash-handling experience is preferred. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provides client account services by processing deposits and loan payments, cashing checks, and processing withdrawals.
• Answers clients’ questions in person and over the telephone.
• Processes transactions and prepares currency transaction reports as needed.
• Identifies basic cross-sell opportunities by informing clients of new services and referrals.
• Maintains cash drawer accuracy and adheres to security procedures including dual-control functions.
• Records activities and referrals in the client relationship system (360View).
• Completes special requests such as check orders, foreign currency exchange, and safe-deposit box procedures.
