Job summary

First Interstate Bank is hiring a Teller to perform daily teller transactions in the lobby and drive-up, delivering outstanding client service while developing and maintaining client relationships.

You'll process deposits, loan payments, and cash checks, while recognizing referral opportunities and supporting team members to achieve results. The role requires attention to detail and strong communication skills in a busy banking environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide client account services by processing deposits, loan payments, cashing checks, and other teller transactions.
• Deliver outstanding client service and develop/maintain client relationships; identify referral opportunities.
• Utilize systems to record activities and referrals to business partners and other lines of business.
• Process currency transactions and complete required documentation, including CTRs.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer, protect bank operations, and participate in training.
