Job summary

First Interstate Bank in Coeur d'Alene, ID seeks a Teller to handle daily transactions in lobby and drive-up, deliver outstanding client service, and build relationships across North Idaho branches.

You will process deposits, withdrawals, checks, and cross-sell referrals while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality; the role supports multiple branches in Hayden, Post Falls, Sherman and Spirit Lake.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical aptitude for cash handling and balancing.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, loan payments, checks, and withdrawals for lobby and drive-up clients.
• Answer client questions in person and by phone, and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Record transactions, reconcile cash drawers, and maintain cash supplies.
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with security procedures.
• Support team members and participate in training to enhance knowledge.
