Citizens is seeking a Teller to greet customers in the lobby and assist with transactions using mobile app and ATMs. You will deliver personalized advice, connect customers to Bankers, and educate them on Citizens products and benefits.

The role emphasizes cash handling, compliance with financial policies, and strong customer service skills, including problem solving and active listening. Branch hours may include weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED.
• Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship.
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service.
• Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in lobbies and demonstrate how to use mobile app or ATMs to complete transactions.
• Provide personalized advice and solutions to help customers meet financial goals and connect them to Bankers for next steps.
• Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits and respond to questions and concerns.
• Follow all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling and compliance with laws and regulations.
