Ascension is seeking a Telemetry Monitor at Via Christi Hospital St. Francis in Wichita, KS. This night-shift, full-time role (36 hours weekly) focuses on monitoring patients requiring continuous cardiac observation and communicating patterns to the care team.

• High school diploma with 2 years of cumulative experience or a 1-year associate/technical degree.
• 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience acceptable.
• BLS certification accepted from AHA or Red Cross.
• Location Wichita, KS and night shift availability.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Perform various activities regarding telemetry monitoring on patients requiring continual cardiac monitoring.


• Oversee and communicate cardiac patterns on telemetric devices.


• Maintain telemetry monitoring equipment and supply inventory.


• Document irregular rhythms and monitor changes in heartbeat.


• Forward changes to nurse and/or attending physician for analysis and interpretation.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Required Credential(s):


• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
