Job summary

Ascension's Via Christi Hospital St. Francis in Wichita, KS is seeking a Telemetry Monitor Tech to oversee patient telemetry and communicate cardiac patterns for continuous cardiac monitoring.

The role requires a high school diploma or 1 year related experience; BLS provider is preferred. This full-time night shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am, 36 hours weekly) includes tuition discounts and access to the academic partnership with Wichita State University for program discounts and growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of relevant cumulative job-specific experience required.
• Preferred credentials: BLS Provider (AHA or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Perform telemetry monitoring on patients requiring continual cardiac monitoring.
• Oversee and communicate cardiac patterns on telemetric devices.
• Maintain telemetry monitoring equipment and supply inventory.
• Document irregular rhythms and monitor changes in heartbeat.
• Forward changes to nurse or attending physician for analysis and interpretation.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s): None Required.
• Preferred Credential(s): BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
