Job summary

Ascension’s Good Health Solutions Center in Austin, TX seeks a Telemetry Monitoring role to oversee continuous cardiac rhythm monitoring and documentation. You will track rhythms, log changes, and relay critical events to the nurse or physician for swift actions.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (BLS preferred). You’ll work full-time day shifts, with essential equipment and supply management to support patient safety.

Department: Central Monitoring

Schedule: Full time, Day shift | 3-12 hour shifts per week

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Cardiac Pattern Surveillance: Oversee continuous telemetric monitoring to accurately track, analyze and interpret complex cardiac rhythms and heartbeat variations.
• Clinical Records Documentation: Document irregular rhythms, measure baseline intervals and maintain precise logs of all electrocardiogram changes for patient medical charts.
• Critical Care Communication: Forward real-time rhythm modifications and life-threatening arrhythmias immediately to the primary nurse or attending physician for swift clinical analysis.
• Equipment & Supply Management: Maintain advanced telemetry monitoring equipment, troubleshoot technical issues and manage a robust supply inventory to ensure uninterrupted patient safety.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s): None Required.
• Preferred Credential(s): BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
