Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Telemetry Monitor Technician in Baltimore, MD to perform telemetry monitoring for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and to oversee telemetric devices. The role involves maintaining equipment, documenting rhythm changes, and communicating findings to nurses and physicians for timely interpretation.

Requirements include a High school diploma or equivalent (or higher) and a BLS credential from the American Heart Association before hire.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association required.
• Healthcare experience in telemetry monitoring preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or higher, required.

• Perform telemetry monitoring activities for patients requiring continual cardiac monitoring.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.

Experience

• EKG/ECG Technician training program or passing a Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation Exam.
