Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola is seeking a part-time Telemetry/Monitor Tech to join the Central Monitor Room in Pensacola, FL. You will monitor live cardiac patterns and help ensure rapid clinical responses.

The role emphasizes accuracy of data, timely communication with nurses and physicians, and upkeep of telemetry equipment. Prior telemetry experience preferred; BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years' experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree.
• Prior telemetry / cardiac monitoring experience preferred.
• BLS Provider preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).

Responsibilities

• Monitor live cardiac patterns on telemetric devices to identify and track subtle changes in real-time.
• Track and record irregular rhythms or shifts in heartbeat activity to maintain precise, high-quality data for the clinical team.
• Forward cardiac changes immediately to nurses and attending physicians, ensuring rapid analysis and timely, life-saving interventions.
• Maintain all telemetry monitoring equipment and manage supply inventory so our tracking systems are always fully operational and ready for use.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education
