Job summary

Ascension in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care under supervision in the Float Staffing department.

This part-time day position supports entry/exit assistance, personal care, and timely reporting of changes to nursing staff, while keeping patient rooms and medical equipment in good order. Successful candidates will have a Maryland Nurse Aide credential and BLS.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Nurse Aide credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
