Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. seeks an RN for a day-shift, PRN role in a small-format hospital setting. Candidate will assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care for higher-acuity inpatient adults, with emphasis on telemetry and ICU recovery pathways.

The ideal candidate has strong cardiac, respiratory support skills and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams. Excellent communication and bedside leadership are essential for this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or nursing diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license without sanctions.
• 2+ years RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related roles.
• BLS and ACLS current; PALS preferred.
• English fluency; strong communication skills.
• Act 33/Act 73 clearances completed or obtained before start.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide age-specific, specialty nursing care.
• Follow physician orders in delivery of nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Collect samples and perform lab testing per policy and COLA/CLIA.
• Handle admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Assemble equipment for diagnostic/treatment procedures.
• Comply with state nursing standards and facility policies.
