Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, advancing compassionate care and safety through the nursing process.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, maintain documentation, and advocate for patients while adhering to the State Nurse Practice Act and facility standards.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of employment
• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation and interview.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes.
• Demonstrate competency in interventions including IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain confidential patient charts; document status and outcomes in a timely manner.
• Promote and advocate for patient health, safety, and rights.
• Provide patient/family education and assess learning readiness.
