Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and intervene to optimize outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in therapeutic/diagnostic interventions (IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, specimen collection).
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient charts and document status and outcomes promptly.
• Promote and advocate for patient health and safety and rights.
• Provide patient/family education and assess learning needs and teaching effectiveness.
