Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune City, NJ. The role involves delivering evidence-based nursing care, coordinating with the care team, and ensuring safe medication administration with bar-scanning technology.

Ongoing documentation and patient education are core responsibilities. The position requires a valid NJ nursing license, BLS/CPR within 60 days, and at least 1 year of nursing experience; telemetry and oncology

Competenze

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience is required.
• Telemetry experience is preferred.
• Oncology experience is preferred.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Must be willing to attend classroom and clinical training to become chemotherapy competent within six (6) months of hire.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, strong teamwork, ongoing education, and high quality patient care.

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based research, policies, and standards for safe, individualized patient care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues, and health care team regarding patient status and care plans.
• Medication administration using bar-scanning and documentation technologies to ensure safe delivery.

• Patient and family education to optimize health, wellness, and disease management.
• Discharge planning to ensure safe transition and continuity of care.

Conoscenze

New Jersey Nursing license
