Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in New Jersey. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care, coordinating with the health-care team, and educating patients and families to promote health and wellness.

The position emphasizes evidence-based practice, accurate documentation, medication administration, and safe discharge planning within a supportive, team-centered environment.

Competenze

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire.
• 1 year of med/surg telemetry nursing experience is required.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Ability to learn quickly, strong accountability, teamwork and ongoing education are required.

• Delivery of nursing practices according to up-to-date evidence-based research and standards of care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and health care team about patient status and plans of care.
• Medication administration using bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Ongoing Point-of-Care electronic documentation of assessments, care plans and evaluations.
• Patient and family education to optimize health and disease management.
