Job summary

Under RN supervision, you will participate in admissions, transfers, and discharges, manage supplies, and help with comfort measures.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care (bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, ambulation) using devices as needed.
• Measures and documents vital signs (BP, pulse, temp) and intake/output in EMR.
• Performs rounding and communicates observations to RN.
• Assists with admission, transfer and discharge tasks and room setup.
• Collects specimens and performs point-of-care tests per protocol.
• Runs errands and maintains stock for nursing area; cleans equipment and work areas.
• Supports skin integrity, positioning, and patient comfort; uses assistive devices.
• Follows infection prevention policies and provides age-appropriate patient care.
