Advocate Health Care in Park Ridge is seeking a Nursing Aide to assist the RN with daily patient care, including bathing, feeding, and mobility, while following unit procedures and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include measuring vital signs, documenting in EMR, supporting admissions/discharges, collecting specimens, and ensuring comfort and safety. Requires Nurse Aide registration and BLS; physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Certification Addendum: Team members will maintain annual educational requirements for hospital based certifications (e.g. DNV, CARF or others).

Responsabilités

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Measure and document blood pressures, TPRs, I&O, daily weights, and other patient data in EMR.
• Perform purposeful rounding and communicate observations to RN.
• Participate in admission, transfer and discharge processes under supervision.
• Collect urine, stool, and sputum specimens and perform point-of-care testing as indicated.
