Advocate Health in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Nurse Aide to assist RNs with daily patient care, including bathing, feeding, mobility, and safety checks. You will document measurements, participate in rounds, and help with admissions and discharges under supervision.

Responsibilities include collecting samples, performing point-of-care tests, stocking supplies, and maintaining clean care areas. Must have a high school diploma and complete BLS within 45 days.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED/HSED required.
• Nurse Aide in good standing and BLS certification required within 45 days.
• Experience not required.

Mansioni

• Assists RN with daily care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Measures and documents blood pressures, TPRs, I&O, daily weights, and other data in EMR.
• Performs purposeful rounding and communicates observations to RN.
• Participates in admission, transfer and discharge processes under supervision.
• Collects specimens and performs point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Cleans equipment and work areas, maintains stock for nursing area.
• Positioning and transporting duties with proper technique and assistive devices.
• Maintains skin integrity and ensures supplies like TED hose and devices are provided.
