You will document vital signs and intake/output in the EMR, participate in rounds, admit/transfer/discharge tasks, and help maintain equipment and supplies. Requires high school diploma or GED and AHA BLS within 45 days.

Qualifikationen

• Education: High School Diploma or GED/HSED.
• Team members must maintain annual hospital-based certifications.
• Nurse Aide duties require basic computer use and EMR documentation.

Aufgaben

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Measure and document vital signs, intake/output, daily weights in EMR.
• Perform rounding and communicate patient/family needs to RN.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge processes and room setup.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Run errands, stock nursing area, clean equipment and work areas.
• Position and transport patients and assist with nutrition and diet setup.
• Maintain skin integrity and ensure supplies such as TED hose are provided.
• Follow infection prevention policies and age-appropriate care principles.
• Age-related care knowledge and RN-directed tasks such as IV removal and post-mortem care when required.
