Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding and mobility.
• Measure and document vitals (BP, temperature, pulse, resp) and daily weights in EMR.
• Perform purposeful rounding and promptly communicate observations to RN.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges under supervision.
• Collect specimens as indicated and maintain patient belongings.
• Maintain clean work areas and restock nursing supplies.
• Lift and transfer patients using proper technique and assistive devices.
• Ensure call lights are reachable and answered promptly.
• Follow infection prevention policies and PPE requirements.
