Qualifications

• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing with the State Registry.
• GED/HSED or High School Diploma completed.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and ambulation.
• Measures and documents vital signs and inputs/outputs in EMR.
• Performs rounding and communicates patient/family observations to RN.
• Participates in admission/transfer/discharge under RN supervision; ensures room setup and patient belongings.
• Collects specimens and performs point-of-care testing per approved protocol.
• Runs errands, restocks nursing areas, and maintains equipment and supplies.
• Maintains skin integrity and supports mobility and positioning.
• May assist with IV removal, post mortem care, and urinary scans as directed.
