Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Telemetry Float Pool at the New Brunswick campus. This role involves night shifts on a 36-hour week, caring for diverse patient populations across units with Magnet-designated nursing excellence and strong interdisciplinary collaboration.

Required ASN or Nursing Diploma, NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS, and strong communication. BSN preferred or to be completed within 5 years. Two years Medical‑Surgical experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
• Active New Jersey RN License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Ensure patient safety and apply evidence-based practice.
• Report safety issues and medical errors as applicable.
• Know the patient population served and respond to clinical needs.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to team members.
• Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes and coordinate care.
