RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Telemetry Float Pool at the New Brunswick campus. The RN will provide nursing care across multiple units, including trauma, neurology, cardiology, orthopedics, and oncology, with emphasis on safety and evidence-based practice.

Night shift, 36 hours per week, with weekend and holiday rotation. NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS, ASN or Diploma required; BSN preferred within five years. This role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma (required) and strong communication/organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills (EMR systems).
• BSN or must be completed within 5 years upon hire (preferred).
• At least 2 years of Medical Surgical experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Ensure patient safety and apply evidence-based practice.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to the care team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• Set priorities and evaluate outcomes toward improvement.
