Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Telemetry Float Pool at the New Brunswick campus. The role provides nursing care across varied units, ensuring patient safety and quality care for diverse patient populations.

Magnet-designated facility, opportunities to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and a focus on nursing excellence. Night shifts include some weekend/holiday rotation, with 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma is required.
• BSN preferred; must be completed within 5 years upon hire.
• Minimum 2 years Medical-Surgical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Maintain safety and participate in evidence-based practice.
• Identify safety issues and report them promptly.
• Know the patient population served and adapt care accordingly.
• Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to team members and collaborate with care providers.
• Set priorities with measurable outcomes and continuously improve patient care.
