Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Telemetry Float Pool at the New Brunswick campus. This night-shift role covers 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 36 hours per week, with weekend/holiday rotation as needed.

Requirements include ASN or Nursing Diploma, NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS; BSN preferred within 5 years, and at least 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience. Benefits and Magnet-designated facility support professional growth.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
• BSN preferred; must be completed within 5 years of hire.
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License; BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Maintain safety and apply evidence-based practice principles.
• Report safety hazards and medical errors promptly.
• Supervise and direct delegation to the care team and coordinate with providers.
• Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
