Job summary

Wagner Equipment Co. seeks a field service installation and troubleshooting expert for its full line of Caterpillar Digital Technology Products and related infrastructure.

You will support Product Link hardware, VisionLink productivity apps, and machine health telematics, while training customers and internal staff on technology products. The role requires strong mechanical experience, ability to travel 75-100%, and a commitment to customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Some College or Trade School is preferred.
• 3+ years Mechanical/ heavy equipment experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Completes detailed service reports in a timely manner.
• Completes warranty paperwork for the product being worked on.
• Provides on-site or call-in service for customer purchased extended support agreements.
• Maintains electronic and hard copy libraries of technical service literature.
• Responds to customer technical and support calls.
• Tracks and reports product problems to appropriate Wagner and Caterpillar factory contacts.
