Wagner Equipment Co. in Colorado is seeking a Rental Equipment Field Service Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair heavy CAT equipment on customer sites. The role emphasizes working as a team, delivering quality service and maintaining logs and reports.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CAT-related coursework, 3+ years in heavy equipment service, and 3+ years of customer service experience. Travel is extensive, up to 100%.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; CAT related courses preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years servicing heavy equipment and 1+ year admin/clerical work.
• 3+ years customer service experience and data entry ability.
• Strong reading, writing, math, reasoning and organization skills.
• Safety knowledge and product knowledge are essential.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain truck and crane inspection logs daily.
• Complete CAT service reports with clear grammar and SIMS code.
• Transmit photos, timecards, service reports via e-mail.
• Keep accurate customer records for assigned jobs.
• Collaborate with Service, Product Support and Sales teams to meet needs.
• Explain diagnosis and status of repairs to customers.
• Coach other technicians in the field and promote Wagner equipment.
• Repair CAT equipment correctly on first attempt.
