Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Deputy Project Leader (Telecommunications) to supervise and direct project teams on telecom and security infrastructure projects.

The role involves preparing strategic plans, budgets, and comprehensive project plans, and analyzing data to drive decisions. The position requires experience with technology systems integration, including passive and active communication networks, and a track record of leading design and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred (Construction Management or related fields also acceptable).
• About one week of out-of-state training is required after start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading a team delivering telecommunications, security, and data infrastructure projects.
• Assist design and deployment of Information Transport Systems and telecom systems.
• Run day-to-day project operations and track progress.
• Identify and resolve change orders; price and manage them.
• Plan cash flow and maintain as-builts and documentation.
• Communicate with clients, owners, and contractors to resolve issues.
